Graziano Commits to Union

The string of Western New York hockey players to make college hockey commitments continued this week as Josh Graziano announced his commitment to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Union College Dutchmen next season.

Graziano, a 6-foot-3, 198 pound goaltender from from Williamsville, NY is currently with the New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Prior to his time with the Ice Wolves, Graziano got the call from the USNTDP, playing with both the U17 & U18 squads during the 2017 – 2018 seasons.

Well-known to scouts across many of North America’s top hockey leagues, Graziano was selected by the Owen Sound Attack during the 2016 OHL Priority Selection as well as the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Central Illinois Flying Aces during the 2017 and 2018 USHL Entry Drafts respectively. Following a 2018 – 2019 season with teams in the USHL, AJHL & OHL, Josh was selected #2 overall by the New Mexico Ice Wolves during the 2019 NAHL Entry Draft.

As if Graziano’s commitment to Union wasn’t news enough this week, Josh was also honored with the NAHL’s #1 play of the week following this absolutely ridiculous glove save last week.
