Griffin Lunn Commits to Colgate

Bloomington Thunder forward Griffin Lunn has committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey at Colgate beginning with the 2018-2019 season. Lunn, a 5-foot-10 191 pound forward from Lockport, NY is currently in his first USHL season and has tallied 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points in 36 games.

Before making the jump to the USHL, the only Tier I Jr. A league in the United States, Lunn spent time with two Buffalo area prospect factories in the Buffalo Jr. Sabres and Nichols School programs. Last season while playing with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the OJHL, Griffin put up 18 goals and added 20 assists for 38 points in 54 games. Prior to his time with the Jr. Sabres, Lunn was one of the leading scorers for the Nichols School Prep team playing out of the CISAA. Lunn will be joining fellow WNY Hockey Prospect Ben Sharf, a Williamsville native and current Red Raiders forward upon enrolling at Colgate.
