Jack Dugan Commits to Providence

Jack Dugan has committed to play NCAA Division I Hockey at Providence beginning with the 2018-2019 season. Dugan, a 6-foot-2 185 pound forward from Rochester, NY is currently in his second season with the Northwood School Junior team in Lake Placid, NY. Although stats weren’t immediately available for Dugan this year, the centerman collected 24 goals and 29 assists for 53 points in 49 games for the Huskies last season.

Prior to the move to Lake Placid, Dugan earned New York State Player of the Year honors while leading McQuaid Jesuit to the New York Class A State High School Hockey title in 2014-2015. Following the season Dugan was selected in the 12 Round of the USHL Entry Draft by the Youngstown Phantoms. It’s very likely Dugan will make this jump and spend at least next season with Youngstown before enrolling at Providence for the 2018-2019 Hockey East season.
