Gahagen, Shafer Earn Atlantic Honors

Atlantic Hockey announced its All-Conference Teams today for the 2015-2016 regular season and there are some familiar names among those honored. Army goaltender Parker Gahagen (2nd Team) and Robert Morris goaltender Terry Shafer (3rd Team) were both honored. Gahagen is being honored for the second time in his three year career. The 6-foot-2 191 pound netminder from Williamsville was excellent for the Black Knights this season posting a 2.12 GAA & .933 save percentage as well as a 12-10-9 record.

Terry Shafer, a 6-foot-2 190 pound senior, is also being recognized for the second time in his career after being a third-team honoree in 2013-14. Shafer has had an excellent season as well and his 2.11 GAA and .938 save percentage for the 21st ranked Colonials. Shafer, along with Gahagen, have been right at the top of Atlantic Hockey goaltending statistics for most of the season.
