Stu Wilson Signs Pro Deal

Stu Wilson should be very familiar with his next destination as a hockey player. Wilson Lane, a 5-foot-10 170 lb forward from Pittsford, NY just finished a four year NCAA Division I career with Yale University and will be joining his hometown Rochester Americans on an Amateur Try Out (ATO) deal.

Wilson of the son of current R.I.T. Tigers mens hockey coach Wayne Wilson. Stu posted career-high numbers of 8 goals & 18 assists for 26 points this season as a senior and was a key contributor for the Bulldogs squad that went on a run during the 2012-2013 NCAA Hockey Tournament, eventually upsetting top seed Quinnipiac on the way to the schools firs hockey National Championship. Before his time with the Bulldogs Wilson spent three seasons with the Cedar Rapids of the United States Hockey League (USHL), captaining the team during his finals season in 2011-2012 with the RoughRiders
